Eight injured in Pattani school bus mishap

A school bus went out of control and plunged into a roadside ditch in Pattani Tuesday morning, leaving the driver and seven students and teachers injured.
Police said the accident occurred at 7.40am in Moo 9 village in Nong Chik district’s Tambon Borthong.
The bus was carrying students and two teachers to Worakhamin Anusorn School when driver Ekkawee Srisup, 38, lost control.
He said the vehicle suddenly accelerated as he changed gears. The road surface was also slippery at the time.
The injured were taken to Nong Chik Hospital.
