Man arrested, allegedly admits to underwear fetish

Police officers from Tambon Ban Ped police station arrested Piyanat Saenongarj, 23, at a rubber market in Chaiyaphoom’s Kang Koi district at 10am based on an arrest warrant from a Khon Kaen court.
Bap Ped police chief Pol Colonel Chumpol Hanchana said officers had obtained the arrest warrant after a boarding house in Tambon Ban Pen filed a complaint that tenants’ underwear had been stolen. Hanchana added that his station had received several other complaints about stolen underwear.
He said police had checked CCTV footage at the boarding house and traced the licence plate of the thief to Piyanat.
The suspect said he liked to wear other people’s underwear because he had worn his sister’s since he was young.
