Corruption activist wants top officers probed over Yingluck’s flight

Anti corruption activist Srisuwan Chanya on Monday filed a petition with the National Anti-Corruption Commission, asking it to investigate the failure of top security officers to prevent former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra from fleeing the country.

Srisuwan focused on Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan and police chief Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda, accusing them of being negligent in their duty.

He sees the negligence as allowing Yingluck to flee the country despite being closely watched by security officers.
