Princess Sirindhorn graces final rehearsal of Royal Cremation

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the final rehearsal of the Royal Cremation processions for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Sanam Luang ceremonial ground on Saturday.

On Saturday, three processions that will take place on October 26 for the transfer of the Royal Urn from Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall to the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang were rehearsed.
The final rehearsal started at 7.23am today.
Princess Sirindhorn joined the first, second, and third processions, which covered around 2.5 kilometres and took around three hours.
This is the second time Princess Sirindhorn has participated in the rehearsals.
The Princess had suggested adjustments to the music to be played during the processions after the second rehearsal last Sunday.
The Royal Cremation Ceremony for the royal remains of the late King, with the procession of honour called Rew Khabuan or Procession in Formation, will take place over three days on October 26, 27, and 29.
It has been arranged into six processions with the involvement of 5,613 people clad in colourful traditional uniforms.
Huge crowds, clad in black, camped out since Friday night to watch the rehearsal of the historic ceremony.
