Five women and two men from Myanmar were arrested in Kanchanaburi on Tuesday morning for allegedly trying to travel further into Thailand without the proper registration.

The seven crossed the border using temporary passes that allowed them to visit only Kanchanaburi.
When the passenger van carrying them was stopped soon after, however, it was determined they were heading to Suphan Buri to take up jobs.
They were handed over to Immigration Police for deportation.
