Border police commander turns gun on himself

The commander of the third company of Border Patrol Police Division 24 in Udon Thani’s Muang district committed suicide at his desk in his office on Monday morning.
The Muang Udon Thani police station was alerted of the incident at the Senee Ronnayuth Border Patrol Police camp at 10am.
Officers rushed the scene and found the body of Pol Lt-Colonel Banharn Kongpim, 57, at his desk. His 9mm pistol was found near his body.
