Over 4,000 people in Songkhla suffer diarrhoea this year

People in Songkhla are being warned to be careful what they eat after thousands were struck down by diarrhoea in the first two months of this year.
Doctor Uthitsak Hariratanakul, chief public health officer in the southern province, said 4,166 people suffered from diarrhoea from January 1 to March 3.
Most of them came from Hat Yai, he said, while Sadao and Sathing Phra were the districts with the second and third highest number of affected people.
The biggest group of patients were newborns to 4-year-olds.
