Molotov cocktail hurled at Samut Prakan mosque
A motorcyclist hurled a Molotov cocktail at a mosque in Samut Prakan province late on Tuesday, causing slight damage to a vinyl sign at its gate, police said.
A Muslim vendor, who has a store in front of the mosque, told police that he saw a teenager arrive on a motorcycle at around 11.50pm, light up the fire bomb and hurled it at the roof of the mosque.
But the bottle rolled down and fell to the ground, burning the vinyl sign slightly before it was put out by people at the spot.
Police are checking footage from security cameras of the mosque to try to identify the attacker.
