Electricity was cut off in a tambon on Saturday morning when a trailer truck crashed onto its side and knocked down nine power poles in Ayutthaya's Nakhon Luang district.

Police said the accident happened on the Tha Rua-West Ayutthaya road in front of Wat Bandai in Tambon Bang Rakam.
The accident caused a blackout to Tambon Bang Rakam and blocked the road to the temple.
The truck was driven by Niran Juwanna, 48, who was injured and taken to hospital.
