Voters getting ready at Wan Noor's polling station in Yala
Many voters turned up early at a polling station in Yala’s Constituency 1 where Prachachart Party leader Wan Muhammad Noor Matha will be casting his vote.
By 7.40am, scores of voters had already come to check their names at the 66th polling station
Wan Noor's name was 490th on the eligible voters’ list at the station and his party said he is scheduled to cast vote at 9am.
So far, there has been no violence in the southern border province.
