Border patrol police and Army troops raided a house in Songkhla’s Na Thawee district, arrested an alleged drug pusher and seized 2,487 methamphetamine pills.
The officials searched the house in Moo 1 village in Tambon Prakob after they received tips from local villagers that the house owner was selling drugs to youths in the area.
The suspect was identified as Ishak Saya, 40.
The drugs were found hidden in a hen’s den under the high-platformed house.
Ishak denied the charge and claimed the drug belonged to his friend.
