“Rub-Bua Tradition” on October 12 at Samrong Canal, Samut Prakan

Literally “catching the lotuses”, this annual tradition is held on the day before the full moon of October and sees a miniature replica of the “Luang Phor To” Buddha image from Bang Phli Yai Nai Temple transported on the canal in a floating procession as people on both banks toss lotuses into the boat to show respect.
