The Cabinet is being asked today (March 3) to approve a budget of Bt225 million for face masks amid the Covid-19 situation, Interior Minister General Anupong Paochinda said.

The Interior Ministry has applied guidelines from the Health Ministry to inform people about how to keep from contracting the coronavirus and what those at risk should do.
Anupong also said political rallies were acceptable if they did not violate the law, so the government would not monitor such activities.
He added that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has not informed him yet of any Cabinet reshuffle, but he was confident he would retain his post.
