Phang Nga may unlock Koh Yao island

Phang Nga’s governor Chamroen Tippayapongthada said on Monday (April 27) that the province will soon unlock its Koh Yao island.

He said this after he and his team sent off a mother and son, who had contracted Covid-19, to their home in Koh Yao Yai district.
Both were found to be infected in early April and were later treated in hospital. Though they tested negative on April 25, they are still required to self-isolate for 30 days.
The Koh Yao island has been under lock down since April 9.
