Krabi officials check on tourists stranded on Railay, Tonsai beaches

Public Health officials in Krabi province visited Railay and Tonsai beaches on Wednesday (April 29) to study the impact the Covid-19 has had on foreign tourists and businesses.

Chaivut Buathong, chief of the Muang district, said some 130 foreign tourists have been stranded in Railay and 60 in Tonsai for more than two months.
He also said that there had been no Covid-19 infections in the two areas so far.
