13 flights landing next week with Thai nationals from 10 countries

Thirteen flights next week are expected to bring more Thai nationals back home from 10 countries, Natapanu Nopakun, Ministry of Foreign Affairs deputy spokesperson, said on Sunday (May 10).

Since April 4 until May 9, 5,815 Thai nationals have flown back, he said.

On Sunday, flights from the United States via South Korea, Taipei, and Japan will bring 295 people while 220 will arrive in a flight from India and 71 will fly back from Japan on Monday, he said.
Between, Monday (May 11) and Saturday (May 16), 13 flights will bring Thai nationals back from 10 countries, he said. The flights will come from: Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bhutan, France, Germany, India, Japan, Philippines, Russia and the United States, according to the ministry.
All passengers will be moved to state quarantine for 14 days soon after landing.
Thailand continues to see a single-digit rise in cases since April 27, except on May 4. Cumulative cases were 3,009 on Sunday with 56 fatalities.
