More hotels being added to “We Travel Together” scheme to attract tourists

More hotels would be included this month in the Rao Tiew Dauy Kan (We Travel Together) scheme, with promotions to lure tourists. People can register for the scheme starting next week.

The Thai Hotels Association (THA) said more hotels would reopen in July, but not all rooms would be offered under promotion for now.
The hotels will launch promotions or packages to attract domestic tourists, THA vice chairman Sujin Chianchitlert said.
Asset World Corporation (AWC) director Wallapa Traisorat said AWC would operate two campaigns – Thai Holidays Lifestyle and Gift of Happiness – among its hotels (except Okura Prestige Bangkok and Banyan Tree Samui).
Under the campaigns, the price for rooms and breakfast start from Bt4,999 for two nights, and Bt9,999 for those staying four nights or more. Tourists can avail of discounts at the hotels’ restaurants and spas.
AWC will also offer 50 per cent discount on some rooms in July and August, and 30 per cent in September and October under the Rao Tiew Dauy Kan scheme.
Minor International has also reopened its hotels.
Chief strategy officer Chaiyapat Paitoon said Minor’s Anantara and Avani hotels are launching campaigns to draw tourists.
Meanwhile, Dusit Thani has launched its promotion campaign – Journey Together with Dusit.
Group chief executive officer Suphajee Suthumpun has said that Dusit Thani Hua Hin, Dusit Thani Pattaya and Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok, have opened their doors since late June. DusitD2 Khao Yai, DusitD2 Ao Nang Krabi, Dusit Thani Krabi and Pathumwan Princess Hotel will be gradually reopened this month.
