Thammasat students union posts photo of 'official' searching dormitory
Thammasat University Student Union (TUSU) posted on Tuesday (August 18) on its Facebook page the picture of man, suspected to be an official, found searching for something in a dormitory located near the university’s Rangsit campus in Pathum Thani province.
TUSU urged people to record video clips and take photographs if they see suspected persons checking something in their dormitories.
If the students see suspected officials, they must ask for their ID card and take photographs of it, TUSU advised. TUSU urged students to inform dormitory staff if they see suspected persons, and avoid, if possible, answering questions from officials.
After the post was published, some Facebook users asked whether the picture was taken in the university’s dormitory or the private one outside the university’s area. The page admin said that it was the latter, adding the post was intended to alert everyone.
