Seven foreigners from five countries tested positive for Covid-19 over a 24-hour period, the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration reported on Saturday.
Two patients were from Russia, two from India and one each from Bangladesh, Brazil and the US. All of them were in alternative state quarantine after arrival.
The Russian patients are a male student, 18, and a woman, 45, while the two from India are a 43-year-old man and a 14-year old female student.
The Brazilian patient, 40, had arrived from Indonesia, while the one from the US is an American female student,16. The patient from Bangladesh is a 24-year-old male.
As of Saturday, the total number of accumulated confirmed cases rose to 3,438, of whom 3,279 have recovered and 101 are under treatment. The number of fatalities remains at 58.
