Thunderstorms, gusty winds forecast for upper Thailand, Central region, East

Hot weather with thunderstorms, gusty winds, hail and lightning strikes are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central region and the East as a high pressure system from China covers the upper Northeast while southeasterly and southwesterly winds prevail across upper Thailand, the Meteorological Department said on Wednesday, advising people to avoid going outdoors or being near big trees, unsecured buildings and billboards.
