Japanese banks have the largest number of representative offices among 30 foreign banks in Myanmar, according to Myanmar's Netline.
Foreign banks that have already opened representative offices are from Japan, China, Bangladesh, the UK, Korea, Malaysia, France, the US, Thailand and Netherlands. These representative offices have not started banking services in Myanmar as they are still studying the situation here.
