Vietnamese businessmen have shown interest in partnering Myanmar businessmen to start joint ventures in the country's real estate, food, textile and tourism sectors.

A Vietnam business delegation conveyed this message during a meeting with a Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) delegation in Yangon on October 18, said UMFCCI sources.
Businessmen of the two countries discussed about real estate, food, textile, tourism, beverages and machine maintenance sectors. According to UMFCCI sources, the Vietnam businessmen expressed their interest to invest in real estate, food, textile and tourism sectors.
The 20-member Vietnamese delegation inquired about business opportunities in the context of Myanmar’s Investment Law, which is expected to be finalised soon.
