“These tenders will be for the construction of buildings such as hotels, shopping malls and housing projects in Mayangone township within three years,” said the official, who asked to remain anonymous.
The development of 162 hectares in Mayangone township in northern Yangon is part of a broader plan for the city, including the construction of new roads, railways and an airport, as well as green zones and housing projects.
