First-of-its-kind car park
Authorities are planning to build a multi-storey car park in central Yangon to reduce traffic congestion, according to the Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC).

“We are planning to build the first high-rise car park on Seikkanthar Street in the city. It will be built on YCDC-owned land,” said a committee official.
