According to Su Su Lwin, an MP from National League for Democracy (NLD), the party’s chairperson sought a medical check-up at a hospital in Nay Pyi Taw during the days.
“We know that NLD’s chairperson had a medical check-up during the parliamentary sessions,” said the MP.
Approaching 70, Suu Kyi has been rarely absent from parliamentary sessions except when she was away on foreign trips.
Tin Myo Win, the family doctor, said some medical results are good.
“Yet, the results are not complete yet,” he said.
