Contingency plans if new airport flooded?

It now seems plainly evident that Suvarnabhumi Airport will succumb to the floodwater sooner rather than later.

As a passenger due to fly from Khon Kaen to Doha via Suvarnabhumi on November 16, I would like to ask what the government’s contingency plans are for the many thousands of people like myself, should such an event happen.
At present the information provided by the media and the government is, at best, misleading and somewhat contradictory. The government must surely have a plan worked out for such an emergency, in which case it should inform its people as well as those who would find themselves affected.
