The reported bribery involved in securing mega projects, if confirmed, cannot be a merely domestic matter. Big bucks must be coming from the slush funds of multinationals with profitable operations here. It makes you wonder how many of them also allegedly
Depositing mountains of cash in the drawing room seems to be a favoured way of hoarding the spoils. One measure to make this practice a little less convenient would be to re-style the banknotes more frequently. Of course it wouldn’t stop crime, but trips to the bank to exchange truckloads of out-of-date currency probably don’t feature in the villain’s guide to lying low.
