Yesterday I asked a guard who saw a woman with a dog walking by him if this was allowed. He replied that it was okay if the dog was in a bag!
Surely this cannot be official policy in a city shopping centre? But this being Thailand, the sales girls think these animals are just so cute and don’t realise that they, the dogs, spend much of their time licking their hindquarters before eagerly sniffing the chicken kebabs and other exposed food (as well as their owners’ silly faces).
Can Siam Paragon state that dogs are or are not allowed in its restaurants and food halls?
If they are then I’ll be shopping and eating at a location that takes food hygiene seriously in the future.
