Quich tips to erase dry skin

I'm in my 50s and my skin has become very dry. Can you recommend a remedy?

Many women suffer from dry skin during menopause. The reduction of oestrogen and the changes in hormones slows down the body’s oil production and reduces the ability to retain moisture. Smoother skin can be yours by following a few simple tips.
Use a gentle soap: Scented, antibacterial or deodorant soaps can be harsh, removing your body’s essential oils, leaving skin even more itchy and dry.
Reach for an unscented or lightly scented bar.
Remember to moisturise: Within a few minutes of stepping out of the shower, apply your favourite moisturiser. Use Vaseline or petroleum jelly to lock in moisture.
It’s a hydrator you can certainly afford.
Other recommended moisturisers are shea butter, hyaluronic acid and lactic acid.
Exfoliate : To help moisturisers penetrate the skin, you should exfoliate your skin once a month to remove the dead skin and follow up with a moisturising routine. A gentle facial exfoliating treatment that uses pressurised micro droplets can clean and slough off the top layer of dead skin effectively.
Focus on smart fats: Essential fatty acids like the omega-3s found in salmon, sardines, walnuts, or flaxseed oil and soy will help produce your skin’s oil barrier, vital in keeping skin hydrated.
If you follow all this advice and still have dry skin problems, it may be time to visit a dermatologist.
