The emperor's new clothes

The story of the emperor who buys new clothes from a tailor playing on his vanity and goes around naked, until a little boy breaks rank and declares that the emperor is in the altogether, is a well known Hans Christian Anderson tale.

With life imitating art we have a former PM with no fixed abode, dressed as an unemployed person, and acting as Thailand’s ambassador abroad. Meanwhile the pretend PM in Bangkok feels free to have private meetings (unnoticed) in hotels, and will meet with her followers’ bete noire without political implications.
Her party is preparing a clean sheet for her brother to get off scot free from all his illegal acts in Thailand. I am just waiting for the little boy to turn up and say, “Stop! Thief”.
