In real life Pang only breaks people’s hearts with mortal intent, but that’s just smitten fans, because she’s so loyal to her long-time boyfriend, Police Captain Songphan “Tom” Kuldiloke, that she married him. His dad, Chat Kuldiloke, is not only the deputy transport minister but also a police lieutenant-general, so she’d better be loyal.
Pang says it’s strange waking up with a man in her bed, but no matter how heated their arguments, she still loves him and never wants to part from him.
Their wedding reception last Sunday drew a slew of political heavyweights due to father-in-law’s Cabinet heft. Thaksin’s ex-wife Khunying Pojamarn na Pompetch was there with son Panthongtae and daughters Praethongta and Pinthongta, so you can imagine the security precautions. But who would ever try to cause trouble with that heavily armed mob?
Well, the press was there, asking troublesome questions. Okay if the wife keeps doing sexy photo spreads, Tom?
“In the future I’d like to screen them first – it would depend on my mood,” he replied jokingly, sort of. And maybe not so many onscreen love scenes from now on.
So Pang’s now under close watch? It seems unlikely for such an independent and opinionated woman, but you never know – Tom might just jump into politics, and then she’d have to be more conservative.
Pang said she’d prefer him to stay behind a badge, but if he does follow in the old man’s footsteps, her fame will surely help him – and her own political views. The day they were wed she was on Twitter blaming the (Democratic) Bangkok metropolitan Administration for the awful traffic.
Fellow tweeple pointed out that she should raise the issue with her new dad-in-law. Pang said she didn’t mean to pick on the BMA alone.
“I meant the Transport Ministry too. I’ve been ranting about this for years – every party should help!”
