The ex-police colonel’s Skype-led Pheu Thai Party is calling foul because its misdeeds in the red-shirt rallies were highlighted again during the election.
Meanwhile Police Colonel Nirand of the DSI has charged that the Democrats, including the governor, have made illegal payments to the party, in an attempt to get him disqualified from politics for five years.
The DSI failed to note any irregularities by other parties forking out for the red-shirt rallies.
Before the election, the DSI made accusations of corruption against the Democrats regarding the police residential construction programme. The person that signed off the terms of reference, who should have spotted any corrupt element in the contract, was Pheu Thai candidate and expert in corruption, Police General Pongsapat Pongcharoen, who stands to benefit from the actions of his fellows on the force.
The police are the good guys, right?
