Another reason why Yaowapa is entering politics is the mistrust by Thaksin Shinawatra of anyone outside his family.
In case of Yingluck’s disqualification, Thaksin’s agenda of coming back free of guilt will not be disrupted if Yaowapa is prepared to continue the status quo. His previous proxies, like Samak Sundaravej, proved not dedicated enough to his cause.
But if Yingluck is guiltless, Yaowapa, more an image of Thaksin, could remind Yingluck to toe the line in future. People like Kittirat would not feel that safe. One does not call Thaksin shrewd for nothing.
