“It’s ended,” he admitted, and not well. The guy ran up a Bt1-million tab on Aof’s credit card. “I’ve cancelled the card, but if he doesn’t stop what he’s doing and damages my reputation, I will have to take the matter to the police.” Aof has good reason to believe there’s no way his ex-boyfriend can repay the money he squandered. That ring he gave Aof turned out to be made of 18-carat junk.
The press, showing its customary sensitivity in the presence of personal grief, asked Aof if he was stupid. No, said the singer, he just trusted someone too much. Aof might want to stop trusting reporters while he’s at it.

Singer Amita “Tata” Young had some people scratching their heads at a recent press conference announcing that she’d be joining the long-running “KPN Awards” television talent show, contributing her commentary about the singing contestants.
The odd thing was that Tata had exactly the same role on the TrueVisions show “Academy Fantasia”, which is sort of a rival. “Do you have any problem with True?” a reporter asked.
It was explained that joining “KPN” means she’ll have nothing to do with “Fantasia” this year, its final season before the Mexican licence runs out. But there’s no problem with True, Tata said. “Let’s just say I’m ‘coming home’ this year.”
She took her first step in show business by becoming the overall winner on “KPN” back when it was called “Siam Kolakarn Awards”. “Without ‘KPN’, Tata wouldn’t have been born in this industry,” she said.
Tata is looking forward to it. “Singing isn’t only about vocal talent – it’s also about your personality and attitude, and I hope I can help the youngsters with that in the contest.”
