POPULAR AMONG FASHION loving women worldwide for more 22 years, La Senza, a famous lingerie and intimate apparel brand from Canada is now offering Thai women the chance to experience playful mischievousness and understated sexiness.
Imported by Central Trading, La Senza recently celebrated the opening of its seventh branch in Bangkok at CentralWorld. The brand is under the management of Victoria’s Secret and Pink Victoria’s Secret Group and has continued to expand its portfolio. Currently, La Senza owns and operates more than 300 stores throughout Canada and a further 500 stores in 48 other countries. It opened its first store in Thailand in 2011.
Brand manager Parichart Chatwatanadirok says that La Senza answers four ideals: “Young, Sexy, Obvious, and Value”.
“With a variety of designs and comfort at its heart, the brand makes you feel sweet yet edgy, playful and sexy. Breasts feel younger and firmer thanks to the high quality materials used in the bras, which boast pads that remember the shape of your breast for maximum comfort. The designs reflect loveliness and liveliness and can even been worn as outerwear paired with a vest or spaghetti line top,” she says. “More importantly, our bra experts help guide women to the right fit.”
Bra fitting is recommended every six months and when buying a bra, women should try it on every time,” says Vanessa Lau, Southeast Asia sales manager from Singapore. “Women go through changes in life and when they have their periods, the bra fit can be slightly different. The bra fitting expert will mark four positions: straight across the body under the bust, the cup size across the bust, the shoulder lines, and the center core,” she says.
La Senza offers more than sexy and flirty lingerie lines. Its mission is also to provide an outstanding lingerie presentation in a world class environment. The fresh design, layout and colour palette of the shop features fun polka-dots in pink on black walls and sassy in-store artwork with timeless images of pin-up girls in sexy lingerie.
The new collection features six types of bras. “Beyond Sexy: Gel push up” features gel-padding made of special silicone for a natural push-up. “Hello Sugar” boasts lightweight foam padding that can push up the bust to four levels and is best suited to those with a small cup size. The “Show Off” collection is a strapless, push up and push up with plunge bra. It comes with a sexy leopard pattern motif and removable pads.
“Cotton” is back to basics with a lightly lined plunge and made from a fabric that’s breathable. Colours range from bright pink to orange and new colours are introduced every month. “So Free” is smooth and seamless with under wire support. This collection firms the bust and with its soft satin finish is an everyday favourite.
Last but certainly not least, the “Body Kiss” collection features bras in super soft fabric with cushioned underwire. The support makes the bust firm and pushes up one level and has straps that can be changed into five styles. Matching panties are available.
