Vogue Thailand recently joined up with leading department stores Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, Central Chidlom, CentralWorld, Zen and Erawan Bangkok to wow shoppers with the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out (VFNO), an event featuring more than 200 Thai and international lifestyle, cosmetic and fashion brands.
Held at Siam Paragon, the world-class shopping event included concerts, parties and a fashion show, plus the sale of limited edition VFNO bags and t-shirts created by graphic designer Teerawat Tienkaprasit. Proceeds are being donated to the Rama Foundation to support Ramathibodi Hospital’s patient fund.
Siri Udomritthiruj, CEO, explained that that Vogue Fashion’s Night Out was initiated to encourage and enhance shopping in the hope of supporting designers. A popular event fashionistas all over the world, VFNO has been a huge success in every country boasting its own edition of the magazine since 2009.
“This activity opens up business opportunities for both fashion and lifestyle business, giving the designers an equal chance to further their businesses with Vogue as the medium. We believe that this world-class event will liven up the night-time shopping experience, and hence encourage shoppers to purchase at year end. This is the inaugural VFNO in Thailand, and we’ve had phenomenal feedback from many Thai and international brands as well as sponsors for drinks and souvenir giveaways.”
