Entertainment figures hope for a happy and creative new year

As we begin a new year, many of us will be looking at turning our dreams into reality with determination to put in the dedication, self-discipline and effort that this requires. Those in the entertainment business are among the biggest dreamers. We got 22 of them to tell us what they are wishing for in 2014.

l “I’d like to make it in the car-racing stakes with my Vios Class C No 77.”
l “It would be great if artists of all music genres could be more creative.”

l “I would like to have more time for exercise to keep me strong and healthy and help make my voice become more powerful.”
l “I want to see many more high quality bands find their way to the Thai music scene.”

l “I’m hoping that we’ll make a success of our concert to celebrate Moderndog’s 20th anniversary.”
l “I’d like to see new ideas in all categories of arts so that people have more visions to inspire them.”

l “I dream about riding a bike on a solo journey from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, as this would help me improve my concentration and my decision-making.”
l “I’d prefer to see actors and actresses looking more real. The heavy make-up makes it all so false.”

l “I’ve been working on creating a fashion brand and really hope it will take shape in 2014.”
l “I would like to see more creative ideas in the entertainment industry.”

l “I’m now a freshman at Srinakharinwirot University so am hoping I’ll do well in my studies.”
 
l “I also wish the entertainment industry would become more creative.”
 
Thanasit “Ton AF8” Jaturaputch, singer
l “After having spent time in hospital for exhaustion, I’m determined to stick to my workout routine and firm up my muscles.”
l “I’d like to see artists from several music labels performing together on the same stage as this would do away with the myth that we don’t get along.”

l “I would like to impress audiences with my acting skills in the TV series ‘Bang Rachan’ and an upcoming stage play.”
l “I wish people wouldn’t only judge celebrities through negative news and gossip but on their work.”

l “I’d like to continue studying and work for a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Thai literature from Kasetsart University.”
