Seeds of success
The popular radio station organises the ninth edition of its annual awards
One of Thailand’s hottest radio stations, Seed 97.5 FM, is once again recognising the talent of young artists with the latest round of its Seed Awards on the theme “A Cat’s Nine Lives” to mark the ninth edition of the event.
“The winners in each category aren’t selected by a judging committee but by members of the public. We want these awards to be totally neutral,” says managing director Teerapat “Tui” Satjakul.
“We give an equal chance to all professional and new artists from the major and indie music label and we have the Lek-So-Seed award to present to artists who have produced their own musical works and are working hard to make their dream come true.”
The Seed Awards are being held at Centrepoint Studio on Sukhumvit Soi 105 (Lasalle) on March 4.
Before that though, everyone is invited to vote for their favourite artist in each category by sending an SMS to 4111975 (type category no. S1 to S10 together with your name of your favourite artist) or make your selection online at www.SeedMcot.com, Nominations are open until March 3.
