Any “murder” committed would be by those who would leave this dangerous road as it is! Its heavy use is not going to end, whatever the tree-huggers and bunny-lovers might wish. And the traffic will get steadily worse as the industrial part of Korat expands as planned (and as is happening already) and these businesses require direct access to the eastern seaboard without going via Saraburi and Chon Buri. This road, as it is now, has to be one of the most dangerous in Thailand. It is high time it was straightened, and made fit to take the lorries and buses that use it in increasing numbers. I am a lover of parks, nature and animals, but I am also a lover of human life and am realistic enough to realise that time cannot stand still while we argue whether elephants, monkeys and other wild animals have more right to safe passage than we do.
