Planning to pay Thaksin a visit?

Re: "Pheu Thai raises its head again", Politics, September 12.

Less than four months after the military coup that toppled Yingluck Shinawatra, her big brother Thaksin is back in the limelight again.
Was this a wise move? Thaksin doesn’t seem to care what people think of him.
Nevertheless, his Thai supporters who are planning to visit him overseas should not forget the fact that martial law is still in effect here.
They should be aware that any visit to Thaksin in a foreign land could irk the National Council for Peace and Order.
Those implicated in attacks and arson in the 2010 Bangkok melee should think carefully before making such a visit, or they might find out that the NCPO is not as friendly as before.
The country wants peace: All should allow this breathing space to continue for a while.
