Anti-terror experts needed, not politicians

If the goal of the world is to rid itself of ideological and religion-driven terrorism, then please tell propagandists and politicians to get out of the way so as to let anti-terrorism experts do their jobs – without the sound-bites, photos-ops, parades and charades.
The terrorist leader of the 9/11 attacks was identified by a top official who ignored the warning for political reasons.
The terrorist leader of the Boston Marathon bombing was interrogated well before he did the bombing. That involved warnings from Russia so he was let go to do it – again, political.
French authorities had everything they needed to prevent the terrorism deaths at Charlie Hebdo, so let cartoonists satirise that – and as well they should.
Ranting and railing at Muslims to address Sharia law would have been like demanding the Communist Party stop pointing nukes at us during the Cold War – a non-starter.
We were thinking 24 hours a day, every day of the year, during the Cold War and that thinking concluded the era, but we do
not see that same type of
thinking today with regard to terrorism.
Far from it. The impression is that propagandists and politicians want to keep terrorism alive as it is so easy to rant and rail against, but we will believe them only when all terrorism evaporates.
A fish rots from the head down, which explains the rotten smell of terrorist attacks that could have and should have been prevented, Sharia law notwithstanding.
Get rid of Sharia law and something else will take its place, as it always does, so please address the real problem instead.
