Nordic social democrats would have good advice for us

People are coming from the other side of the globe to give Thais "lessons" in how to run a country. Horrible some will say, because the envoys themselves come from a dysfunctional democracy.

And those people go everywhere in the world on the same mission, but only to countries that have something they desire and that are not yet on their side. In recent days their leader has been attending the funeral of a just passed-away dictator, his good friend they said. That dictatorship was not bothered with “lessons” in democracy, because they had oil and were already on the right side.
So how should it have been—as with the Germans? They come—when they are invited to inform and advise about democracy. Thailand should invite more people from up north, from social democratic labour parties, to inform and help set up a Thai Social Democratic Party to take care of the interests of the wage-working people and the poor farmers. Many have aired interest in a Thai Social Democratic Party, but nothing is being done. May I suggest the government, together with the biggest labour unions, invite representatives from the Nordic social democratic parties to Thailand.
Meanwhile, poll after poll shows the majority of Thai people are happy with the coup, Prayut, the politics and martial law, and unhappy with American interference in Thai politics.
But many article-writers together with online newspaper readers who respond to writings with “a click” seem to be totally out of touch with these present public views. Are they just a strange and “exclusive” bunch of people? Or is somebody really interfering? Awake readers will see there has been an increase in the numbers of “clickers/respondents” in recent times and often “the public view” shown in polls have been totally overrun. How come?
And finally, what is the current public take on China? Are your online respondents just “exclusive” and do they only confuse the topic by totally refusing any Chinese connection, regardless if it’s about trains or military co-operation?
