The troupe of 60 Thai khon (mask dance) performers performed Ramayana at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the first time Thursday night.

The show marked the new chapter of Thai performance art, after 130 years ago when the Siamese orchestra made its debut show here during the King Rama V exchanged our culture in period of Queen Victoria.
The Khon performance was part of the "Totally Thai" festival organised by the ministries of Culture, Foreign Affairs and Tourism & Sport to celebrate the 60th birthday anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the 160 year-relationship between Thailand and UK.
