Political correctness and altruism cause drownings and starvation

When Tony Abbott made it clear that Australia would not accept people invading its shores in rickety boats, the boats stopped arriving. Do-gooders vilified Abbott for his forthright approach, but it has proved to be humanitarian, preventing death by drown

Were Europe to guard its borders by intercepting the invading boats of economic migrants, returning them to their port of embarkation and destroying the unseaworthy craft, the message would get through. The considerable loss of life by drowning in the Mediterranean Sea is not acceptable in a civilised world. The best way to stop it is to make it clear that the illegal invasion of Europe is not permitted.
This migration craze recently caused the hideous death of 70 people trapped in an abandoned airless refrigeration truck in Austria. Migration madness has to be stopped. Borders must be closed regardless of liberal opinion. It must be controlled through the proper channels.
Misguided altruism by liberals is a threat to the future of all humanity. It encourages dependency and discourages self-reliance. Above all, it harms the providers and destabilises their societies, upon which civilisation depends.
