Searching for my Thai family for 25 years
I am a Thai adoptee and have been searching for my biological family in Thailand for 25 years. I believe I am originally from Sadao in Songkhla province. The name and date on my birth certificate are false.
I have evidence that I was very sick when I was 18 months old, and that a Thai doctor and his American wife took me to their hospital in Bangkok before putting me up for adoption.
A DNA test of the woman who signed my birth certificate as my mother proves that we aren’t related.
I do have one document that states I am from Sadao.
I have been to Thailand twice and I have had no luck. I need to get my story out in the hope that someone will come forward with fresh information on my case. Thank you.
