Does the human race know where it's going?

Paris, still recovering from a murderous Islamic fundamentalist atrocity, is now entertaining a conference on climate change.

Islam’s openly declared objective is to control Europe and the UK politically. Procreation is its tactic. Roman Catholicism’s opposition to contraception is designed to increase the number of Catholics. Islam seems to be silent on climate change. The Pope is outspoken on the issue and, while providing no solutions to the problem, his anti-contraception policy is adding fuel to the fire.
Climate change has been operating since the planet was formed billions of years ago, well before humans appeared on the scene. However, the current belief is that mankind is causing global warming by burning fossil fuels to meet the increasing demand for energy. Economic growth in developing countries is considered the answer to relieving poverty. But that will only increase the demand for energy, as well as increasing the population. If humans are responsible for global warming, then a decrease in population and economic growth would surely alleviate the situation. Fossil fuels, in the absence of sufficient alternatives, are still essential to growth and provide for the needs of an exponentially growing population.
In Paris, no institution or country will accept a reduction in population and economic growth will not be negotiable. Atomic power is taboo, so what is there to discuss?
We have no control over climate change. It’s a political bandwagon: a phenomenon way beyond our ability to grasp. Better to concentrate on the real worldwide threat of terrorism from Islamic fundamentalists. Paris is not smothered with 120,000 soldiers and 40,000 police as protection against climate change.
