Adult immaturity of this kind, along with the accompanying lack of empathy and a general hatred of mankind, enables overly ambitious people to bulldoze their way to the top. Often leaving chaos in their wake, they claim success, but it is a figment of the imagination and a tool of the ego. “Concrete erections” (and the like) become a visual cover-up for a whole host of previously obscured failures and represent an unconscious statement of enormous inadequacy. They are a fictional reality, enabling an excessive state of denial. These little brats never grow up, which is why they never retire. The mirror of the past is too large to confront.
Challenging “the establishment” is all well and good, but Trump is not the man for the job. Representing an alternative, equally loathsome establishment group of corporate parasites, he looks likely to become a very dangerous Republican experiment. Bearing in mind that his likely Democrat opponent is being investigated by the FBI, the future looks very bleak indeed.
