Now is the time to root out corruption in the capital

The suspension of Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra for alleged corruption, mismanagement and behaviour unbecoming is likely to have cultivated collective furrowed brows.

However, localised mulching is not enough. This is the season to dig deep – to harvest the entire Bangkok Metropolitan Authority mafia and expose who really is farming the land, both within City Hall and beyond.
Hoeing the top soil simply enables the old weeds to reappear, often bigger and stronger than before. Slash and burn the dirty brown envelope industry. Root out once and for all the networks of criminals, bullies and thugs that have been propogating the ruination of Bangkok for years.
Stage the grandest ploughing ceremony ever and allow Bangkok the chance to blossom again.
