The Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit’s restaurant the Square has a “Come on Crab – Fresh Fast Fin Weekday Dinner Buffet” throughout this month and next.
Every Monday to Thursday from 6 to 10.30pm, the shellfish is stir-fried in yellow curry, steamed with Thai herbs, and served as Taraba Crab Shabu Shabu and Taco Soft Crab, as well as in iced dishes.
New Zealand mussels, river prawns, sushi, sashimi and California rolls and a host of other treats round out the meal, and you can finish up with delectable cake, Thai desserts or ice cream.
The feast costs Bt1,299, or half that price if you book in advance. An extra Bt500 buys free-flowing draught beer or wine.
The Square is a great place to dine any day and anytime. Seating 170, it serves breakfast starting at 6am, lunch until 2.30 and dinner until 10.30, and even has all-day snacks available, so any hour you’re feeling hungry, you know where to go.
