BEATSX wireless in-ear headphones from Beats by Dr Dre give iPhone users that authentic Beats sound with tangle-free cords and great battery life with fast recharging to keep them on the move.
You get a Lightning charging cable and a Lightning port to let you recharges as you would with any iOS 10 device.
A built-in Apple W1 chip provides one-step Bluetooth connections to your iOS 10-based iPhone. You just hold BeatsX next to your unlocked phone and press the power button on the earphones for one second. Your phone prompts you to accept the connection and you’re ready to enjoy the music.
Once the connection is made, the BeatsX will be ready for use with other iOS10, macOS Sierra and watchOS 3 devices you’ve logged into with the same Apple ID. This is very convenient indeed.
The earphones are small in form with a simple, fluid design that makes them extremely light – they’re almost unnoticeable when worn, and that translates into hours of use without discomfort.
The battery will last up to eight hours. Fast Fuel technology ensures two hours of playback after just five minutes of recharging.
The in-line RemoteTalk lets you to take phone calls, play music and activate Siri. You press once on the remote to play or pause a track, double press to skip forward, and three times to skip backward. The RemoteTalk cable also has buttons for controlling call and music volume.
Tangle-free Flex-Form cable means you won’t end up in knots. In the package are ear-tips in four sizes to make sure you get a good fit in the ear canal and external noise is blocked out. If you like listening to music while playing sports, there are also secure-fit wingtips. When not in use, magnetic earbuds keep the earphones untangled around your neck. They easily coil to fit into a compact carrying case.
I plugged into an iPhone 7 Plus without a hitch and admired the good-quality sound and fine details. With the ear-tips seated properly, I was getting plenty of bass.
The BeatsX can also be used with other Bluetooth devices using a normal Bluetooth connection, and I tried it with my Huawei Mate 8 smartphone and got just as decent results.
